My first item in the box was Biore 4 in 1 Revitalizing Cleanser, full size, $9.99. The "4" of 4 in 1 are purify, cleanse, tone and refresh. I don't use Cleanser, I usually wash my face with whatever soap is in the shower and then just use disposable makeup wipes at night. This will be another hand off to my boyfriend.
The next item is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Lotion SPF 55 14ml sample.
88mL / $15.99 14mL=$2.54) I've tried this sunscreen before and still have the old bottle of it. I don't really use sunscreen that much, I'm hurt so I don't get outside tons unfortunately.
After that is Wella Professional Ocean Spritz hairspray, 150mL / $16.99. This is supposed to help give you beach hair and is rated at level 2 out of a 4 level spectrum. I'm not really interested in this. I have one bottle of hairspray other than this, for an example. I might try it in the morning before I wash my hair just to see what it's like, but I like my hair straight and it doesn't need more volume, so this isn't my kind of thing. I also don't think salt is beneficial for hair. Skin, sure, hair not so much. Dries it out.
The fourth item is a sample of Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Revolution Complex, 7ml.
50mL is $30.99 so the sample is 7mL ($4.34) I got this from the P&G brand sampler website previously, and it has a weird, grainy feel to it. It's not in the group picture because it was still hidden in the box.
The fifth item is a Gillette Venus Embrace Razor (1 "kit" is $13.43) and it is called a kit because they consider a handle and a blade separate pieces I guess.
The last item is a single Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, a full box of 8 is $9.99 so 1 piece is $1.25.
I like these, they don't really get all the blackheads out though, and for the price it would be nice if they did. That's usually why I don't buy them myself, but I will always use them if I get them.
So in total, this GlossyBox was worth $61.04, and GlossyBox is only $15 a month, and more than worth it, considering my last two boxes. You can see my May GlossyBox Review here. I wish the boxes came in the month they are for, but considering the value, this is not a big deal to me.

It's funny reading it because for a box that you loved, most of the post is like, "meh, didn't love this. bah, not my type of product". I did see that the two most expensive things (probably just one of them worth almost more than the entire rest) were things you loved. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting my first Glossybox this month (though it seems to come so late it might be next month by the time it gets here) and I'm excited! I wouldn't be jumping for joy personally at this box, but I'd be pleased for sure. I'd be a disappointed about the cleanser because I don't even want to try that since I only use soapless, fragrance-free and I prefer natural and organic ones but the whole rest I'd be happy to try and with the razor worth most of the price of the box, it can only be a winner I guess even if it's not exactly an exciting product!
Haha I was mostly excited about the lipstick because it almost covered the cost of the box, and everything else was just a bonus. My boyfriend loves all the face wash he gets from this box though haha! Everything else is good stuff to have, everyone needs razors, and occasionally hairspray.
DeleteI thought this box was better than the last one because I wasn't to keen on the stuff on the last box, this is for sure a step up.
Yeah most of the bath stuff I use is natural or organic, I am a big fan of Lush, The Bodyshop, and small sellers on Etsy.
Yeah, the boxes come late, usually not even in the month they are for. That's the only thing negitive I have, The boxes are beautiful and would be a good gift, or you could even re use the box for a gift box.
